Lance Johnson Made “A” Honor Roll at Genoa Middle School
WESTERVILLE, OH—Lance Johnson made the “A” Honor Roll during 5th grade (2013-2014 school year) and is currently on track to make the “A” honor roll during the first grading period in 6th grade at Genoa Middle School.
Lance also scored Advanced (the highest level) on all sections of the Ohio Achievement Assessment. On July 15, 2014 the Ohio Department of Education notified students and their families of the results of the Ohio Achievement Assessment taken in the Spring. The test measures the students mastery of math, reading and science.
He also participated in Junior Achievement’s BizTown on May 12, 2014. BizTown is a program that allows students a realistic opportunity to experience how basic economic concepts are used in the real world. In the BizTown facility students operate businesses, including banks, retail stores, manufacturing shops, restaurants, media outlets and City Hall, and earn a paycheck. All businesses are outfitted with modern equipment and technology. Lance was assigned to work at the TV Station and had a great time learning what it takes to run a station, earn a living and manage his money!
Lance is the son of Jenny and Steve Johnson and 3rd great grandson of Tate Cornute.
