Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Ingredients:
1½ cups unsalted butter
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon light brown sugar (opt)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325° and grease loaf pan with butter.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth.
- Add vanilla, lemon and almond extract.
- Beat in one egg at a time.
- Once all are combined add flour and mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake 1½ hours.
Optional: A few minutes before the cake is done, sprinkle the brown sugar on top and return to oven to finish cooking.
